How VAR has affected Man United this season
On Saturday afternoon, Manchester United had yet another controversial VAR decision against them. The Red Devils were able to scoop a 1-0 victory all thanks to Bruno Fernandes’s injury-time winner.
Manchester United would have drawn the game due to VAR interference in the 8th minute of the game to cancel Scott McTominay’s goal. According to the explanation by the referee, the goal was canceled for ‘subjective offside’ before he scored.

On September 23rd, 2023 Manchester United played Burnley away in the EPL. Jonny Evans’s goal was disallowed by the video assistant referee for an offside against Rasmus Højlund in the 25th minute of the game.

The fourth incident VAR decision have affected Manchester United negatively in the English Premier League this season was against Man City on Oct. 29, 2023.
A Penalty was awarded against Manchester United in the Manchester Derby. The VAR decision was that there was a foul by Rasmus Højlund on Rodri in the 22 minutes of the game.
The penalty was converted by Erling Haaland to give the citizens their early lead in the Derby. The game ended 3-0 in favor of the visitors.

The 5th and most current decision against the Red Devils came against Fulham away in the English Premier League on the 4th of November 2023.
